There is so much to organise when a loved one dies. As well as funeral arrangements, order of service, reading the will and much more, there is also the traditional hospitality after the funeral to consider.
Here at Kennaway House, Sidmouth, we can ease your burden by organising everything for you for that important after service farewell and personalise it to your requirements.
At some time in their life, everyone will encounter the pain of losing a loved one.
After the funeral service, what better way to enable those attending to pay their last respects to their loved one than with a traditional celebration of their life with relatives and friends?
Whether this takes the form of a buffet lunch, simple tea or just drinks and canapés, staff at Kennaway House have the expertise to help you choose which is more suitable to ensure your farewell event is dignified and respectful.
In the ambience of the beautiful Regency Kennaway House, situated a few steps away from Sidmouth Parish Church, you can hire the elegant Hatton Wood room, to seat up to 60 or the larger Cellar Bar, which seats 80.
There is also the Amyatt Room, which can be divided to make a smaller, but equally stylish venue.
Our team are available to discuss your plans and will be pleased to show you around Kennaway House advising you regarding the number of people you would like to attend and what type of hospitality you wish to offer.
Kennaway House can then recommend and organise outside catering and there are bar facilities available.
From the moment you book your farewell event you have nothing more to worry about.
